Works are in hand to remove the barn and should be completed by 21st September. We will notify if the work is completed before that date.
This footpath has been closed for your safety as the barn adjoining Paynes Hay Road has been deemed unsafe. Works are in hand to remove the barn and should be completed by early September. Walkers are welcome to use part of the path from Braishfield Road but should be aware there is no access at the end into Paynes Hay Road so steps will need to be retraced.

TEMPORARY CLOSURE
BRAISHFIELD FOOTPATH 4
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN under Section 14(2)b of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 that
Hampshire County Council, to prevent the likelihood of danger to the public, considers that the
closure to the road as specified below should come into force without delay:
ROAD TO BE CLOSED: Braishfield Footpath 4
PERIOD OF CLOSURE: From 31.08.2021 for a period of twenty-one days, or until the path is
considered safe, whichever is the sooner.
Reasonable facilities will be provided to allow access to adjacent premises while the work is being
carried out.
