TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE – Part of Eldon Road, Braishfield
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 that The Borough Council of Test Valley as agent for Hampshire County Council (being the Traffic Authority) has made an Order to allow a safe access for installation of a water mains pressure logging point, as follows:-
ROAD TO BE CLOSED Part of Eldon Road, Braishfield from a point approximately 1060 metres north of its junction with Paynes Hay Road to a point 120 metres further north.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTES From the northern point of closure on Eldon Road in the northwards direction to Furzedown Road, southwards on Furzedown Road and King’s Somborne Road to Paynes Hay Road, south west on Paynes Hay Road to Eldon Road, northwards on Eldon Road to the southern point of closure and on the same roads in the other direction.
PERIOD OF ORDER From 14 March 2016 for a period of 3 months or completion of the works, whichever is the earlier.
DURATION OF WORKS It is expected the road will be closed on 14 March between the hours of 09:30 to 16:00.
