TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE – Various Roads in the PARISH of Braishfield
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 that The Borough Council of Test Valley as agent for Hampshire County Council (being the Traffic Authority) proposes to make an Order to allow a contractor to allow a safe access for BT plant cabling works, as follows:-
ROAD TO BE CLOSED The roads and extents defined in the closure schedule below.

ALTERNATIVE ROUTES From the western points of the closures in the western direction along Dummers Road, and Common Hill Road to Braishfield Road, southwards on Braishfield Road, eastwards on Jermyns Lane and A3090, westwards on Merdon Castle Lane and Dores Lane to the eastern point of the closure, and on the same roads in the opposite direction.
PERIOD OF ORDER From 22 February 2016 for a period of 3 months or completion of the works, whichever is the earlier.
DURATION OF WORKS It is expected the road will be closed from 22 October to 24 February between the hours of 09:30 to 15:30.
Pedestrian and reasonable access to any adjoining properties will be available.
