ABBOTSWOOD ESTATE ~ Non-dwelling break-in during the night on the 19/03/15 person/s unknown have opened an insecure garage door and stolen a Makita drill and disc-cutter, mans mountain bike and a Taylor Made red and white golf bag with a name tag attached.
Anti-sociable behaviour – 22/03/15 member of the public reported two motorcycle bikes racing around in a field near to the Abbotswood Estate.

Butlers Close Theft – 23/03/2015 during the day person/s unknown have stolen a parcel left outside the front door of a property in the communal hall of a block of flats.
MOTTISFONT ~ Theft from vehicle – 21/03/2015 report of person/s unknown have forced the lock off a vehicle parked in a car park and stolen £5.00 – £6.00 in loose change from the middle compartment in the vehicle. Please DO NOT leave valuables in your vehicle

NEWTOWN –Dwelling break-in Newtown Road – 23/03/15 between 0750 hrs and 1815 hrs person/s unknown have forced entry to the rear of a property by using a garden spade to lever open the back door, entry gained and a number of rooms were searched by the offender, an Ipad and various items of jewellery were stolen from within. Romsey police are appealing for any information please quote 44150098833

WEST WELLOW AND CANADA ~ stolen vehicle 18/03/15 police attended to a suspicious vehicle that had been parked in Gurnays Mead, on further investigation it was discovered the vehicle was stolen from an address in Somerset with false number plates on the vehicle. The stolen number plates were stolen from vehicle at Nursling industrial estate a couple of days earlier.

Over night on the 16/03/2015 there have been a number of reports of catalytic converter thefts in the Andover area, thieves have mainly targeted Mercedes Benz Sprinter and Volkswagen Sprinter vans. Should you see any one acting in a suspicious manner or can provide any information please call Andover or Romsey police on 101 – thank you

Visit bank safe online to report all suspicious banking emails.
Never give personal details over the phone.
Report any suspicious phone calls to your phone company.

Most telephone providers will block anonymous callers.
NEVER give your credit or bank cards PIN number out over the phone. This information is NEVER requested legitimately by your bank or the police.
If you feel unsure with any phone calls and something feels wrong – HANG up the phone.

Many postal scams look genuine and are designed to trick you. NEVER respond by sending money or personal details to unsolicited mail.
If you are unsure about a piece of mail, ask a friend for their opinion or contact Consumer Direct on 0845 404 0506.
Beware of unwanted mail from outside this country or from a postbox (PO Box) address in this country.
